BOXES - A specially designed carton will be provided for your packing. These flat cartons fold easily to create a box; a strip or two of tape along the bottom will keep the box open and give it strength to hold your files, etc.
It is best not to mark the cartons with anything other than the office moving tag that is supplied! If there should be an old tag already on the carton, simply place the new and appropriate tag over it.
It is best not to fill the cartons over the open top of the box. The flaps will fold over and the cartons can then be stacked for transportation.
When packing papers and files, stand them on their edge, as this affords the most protection. The same applies to file folders, books and log records. Do not be worried about the ability of the carton to handle what you pack into it. The approximate bursting strength of the cartons is two hundred and fifty pounds. A full carton can be moved safer and more easily than one only half full.
